Welcome to
Isle of Palms
Isle of Palms is a barrier island on South Carolina’s Atlantic Ocean. The coastal community is perfectly positioned near Mount Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island and just a short drive from downtown Charleston. The island sits between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway so there is plentiful access to the area’s waterways and ocean.
Whether it’s going for a morning paddle boarding session, a mid-afternoon surfing trip or sunset stroll on the beach, there is never a shortage of things to do on the Island. Fishing, boating and parasailing are popular recreational activities, and the resort community of Wild Dunes, which features a hotel as well as private home rentals, has even more options including two golf courses, tennis courts and more. The Isle of Palms business district has numerous restaurants and shops, while the oceanfront Isle of Palms County Park offers beach access, a picnic area and playground.
The island is home to many different home styles including single-family homes, oceanfront property, townhomes and condos. Wild Dunes Resort, a gated residential and resort community located on the northern end of the island, is the largest neighborhood on the island.
