Welcome to
Wadmalaw
Moss-covered live oaks, winding creeks, expansive waterfront vistas and a laid-back pace of life are some of the hallmarks of life on Wadmalaw Island. Located in Charleston County, the island is accessible via Johns Island and about thirty minutes from historic downtown Charleston. It is one of Charleston County’s more rural areas with fresh produce and seafood stands popping up on the island during the spring and summer months. Two commercial operations, the Charleston Tea Garden (the only tea farm in North America) and Deep Water Vineyard (South Carolina’s only vineyard) are located on the island. The Town of Rockville, a quaint and charming village, is located at the end of Wadmalaw Island and hosts the Rockville Regatta annually in August.
Properties on Wadmalaw Island include expansive multi-acre vacant lots, waterfront property, custom homes and more.
