Favorite Street in Charleston
Lower Meeting Street. Some of the best memories I have as a child involve visiting my great grandfather at his house at 15 Meeting. So much of Charleston’s history and my childhood was spent on this street.
Favorite Restaurant in Charleston
The Ordinary – Mike Lata is not only a client of mine but hands down one of the best chefs in the country.
Favorite Activity Outside of Work
Spending time with my family. My wife and two sons love the outdoors and we try our best to enjoy everything the Charleston area has to offer. Boating, fishing and water sports are some of our favorites.
Favorite Local Product
John’s Island Heirloom tomatoes. So many incredible dishes are made in the Allen home with these amazing fruits.
Favorite Annual Event
Wine + Food Festival. This event has grown so much over the years and the number of famous chefs that participate each year is amazing.
Must-See Spot in Charleston
High Battery/White Point Gardens. Taking a walk or run around the High Battery is something we as residents take for granted. You can see so many historical sites including Fort Sumter, Morris Island, Castle Pinkney, Sullivan’s Island (Fort Moultrie), to name a few. You are literally taking in a panoramic view of the birth of our Nation.
When I called Robertson Allen. at The Cassina Group to ask about the value of my home and the possibility of selling it, he could not have been more responsive and helpful. His advice on what to do to get the house ready as well as his knowledge of perspective buyers was amazing. Every buyer that looked at the house, Except for one, was brought over by the Cassina Group, who eventually sold it for a very good price in a short period of time. Since these were out of town clients, Robertson was amazing at handling all of the intricate details involved with the closing and inspection, etc. Becca, Robertson ‘s assistant, was also extremely helpful. I couldn’t have been happier with the service of The Cassina Group and would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.
Amazing experience all around. Easy transaction and very professional. Found us a perfect house before it ever hit the market!

Working with Robertson Allen was an absolute pleasure. As the listing agent for my penthouse, Robertson was driven, professional and fun (yes, fun) to work with! Our relationship continues. I gave him a “wish list” for my future home. He called one morning to announce “I’ve found it”, and indeed he had!
Robertson and the Cassina staff are the best in the business. From initial consultation to final closing appointment, they took care of every step and made the process as seamless as possible for our family. When it comes to relationships, market knowledge, and the old school ability to negotiate and get the best deal for me, there is no need to look further. 100% asking price in 2 days on the market, closed in 30 days...not bad right?
Robertson was incredibly helpful while we were looking for a house on Sullivan's Island. It can be very stressful and frustrating buying a house from afar and Robertson always kept us apprised of the situation/negotiations during the entire process. We were completely satisfied with our relationship with The Cassina Group and we feel that Robertson is not just our realtor, but a friend.
We have purchased four properties and sold three in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant with the assistance of Robertson Allen and the team at the Cassina Group since 2008. If you smartly or luckily choose Robertson Allen you get an impressive team package. Robertson is knowledgeable, kind, intelligent and a wonderful listener....We think so much of Robertson and his credibility that we actually bought our current home in April of 2016 without even physically seeing it. He looked. He knew the house. He knows us. We just trusted him and we couldn't be happier.

From the moment I spoke with Robertson on the phone I knew that he and The Cassina Group were an amazing match for us. Robertson was consistently highly motivated, knowledgeable, professional, and communicative - all qualities I required in a broker.
We value Robertson’s knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. As two former attorneys and current investment advisers, we believe that--with respect to Robertson--our trust was extremely well-placed.

Earlier this month I used Robertson Allen with The Cassina Group to list and sell my home. They not only made the process completely painless and smooth, they also helped me sell it in record time with their great marketing strategy! My home was under contract in 5 days after listing and I even received a back-up offer shortly thereafter.
We were very impressed with how hard-working [Robertson] is; before we could ask him to do something, we would learn that he had already done it!
During the very involved sales process of my Mother’s family home on Queen St, time and again, I was grateful to be successfully represented by Robertson Allen and The Cassina Group. Robertson is an expert who knows, a professional who performs and a fine man of integrity you can trust.
A Charleston native, Robertson loves the Lowcountry and everything this one-of-a-kind city has to offer. He currently lives with his wife and two sons in the city of Charleston.
Robertson graduated from Clemson University with a marketing degree and has worked in the Charleston real estate market since 2002. In that short period, Robertson has become an annual multi-million dollar producer and a multiple year recipient of the Realtor of Distinction – Executive Circle award .
In the Spring of 2006 Robertson partnered with Jimmy Dye to form The Cassina Group, LLC and the company is now one of the areas leaders in residential home sales.
He works tirelessly to find the “right addresses” for his clients to ensure that they will love Charleston as much as he does.
