Favorite Street in Charleston
That would probably be Church Street. It has some of my favorite homes and looks absolutely magical when it’s lit up at night.
Favorite Restaurant in Charleston
First place goes to Oak Steakhouse. Their cowboy ribeye would be my last meal if I could choose it! My go to for lunch is Gaulart and Maliclet (aka Fast and French) where I religiously order a Provençal sandwich with a cup of cucumber soup. My favorite new spot is Laurel which has wonderful Portuguese cuisine in a cool hip space.
Favorite Activity Outside of Work
I love playing tennis, and I enjoy all the fun people I meet through tennis.
Favorite Local Product
I absolutely love the art of Jill Hooper. Her work is unbelievable and can be viewed at the Gibbes Museum of Art or at her downtown studio.
Favorite Annual Event
I enjoy the phenomenal programs and lectures available through the Gibbes Museum. They have the coolest events and guest lecturers!
Must-See Spot in Charleston
I love a stroll through Stoll’s Alley that shoots me right out at the Battery. Downtown is the heartbeat of Charleston; every great town needs a nexus.
